Well hello there!
Hello beautiful people! My name is Kensley Barber and I am the gal behind the camera. A little about me is that I am a lover of all things sweet, basking in the sun, and my guilty pleasure is reality TV (I said it was a guilty pleasure, okay?!) I moved to San Diego in August of 2022 from Alabama, and I now split my time in photography between the two. I'm just about always smiling and I'm pretty sure if you can be addicted to matcha, that I'm already there. I'm always trying to be creative in any way possible, creating is my favorite past time. I'm a big fan of long walks, days at the beach, and singing all the time; although you should cover your ears, I was blessed with a love for singing, but not the talent. I am a very dynamic person though. I also love going to baseball and hockey games, and I am a BIG Auburn Tigers football fan! WAR EAGLE! Not to mention my love for riding motorcycles. There is so much more, but I guess you'll just have to get to know me to find out.
What is it like to shoot with me?
Well, when it comes to photography I tailor every photoshoot to the specific individual(s). I like to have FUN on photoshoots and capture genuine moments. I love creating a vision with my clients and then working with them to bring the vision to life. No matter what feelings you are trying to portray, I can help make it happen. It's what makes my job so fun and special. I think we forget how important photos can be, they capture moments in time to keep a memory alive forever. Photos can tell stories, sell products, and even help build self esteem! That's right, if all you want from me is to take photos of you that show your true beauty, I can do that. Or maybe you started your own business and want photos showing it off? Yep, I can help with that. Even if you want me to capture the raw fun of your bachelorette / bachelor party, oh boy I sure would love to do that too! Any vision you have, bring it to me and let's make it happen.
